Getting started with Growwaas

01
Who can order from Growwaas?

Growwaas is primarily a business-to-business fresh produce supplier. We work with restaurants, cafés, caterers, fast-food businesses, cloud kitchens, and other organisations involved in food preparation and service.

If you are unsure whether we can supply your type of business, contact our team and tell us what you need.

How do I place an order?

You can browse our produce through the Growwaas website and use the ordering or enquiry options available to your account.

For wholesale requirements, bulk quantities, or products you cannot find online, you can also contact our team directly for assistance or a quotation.

Can I request a wholesale quotation?

Yes. If you are buying in bulk or need a regular supply arrangement, contact Growwaas with the products, approximate quantities, and delivery requirements for your business.

Our team can then discuss the requirements with you and provide relevant pricing or availability information.

Is there a minimum order?

Minimum order requirements may depend on your delivery location, products, quantities, and commercial arrangement with Growwaas.

Please get in touch with us with your postcode and expected order requirements, and we can confirm what applies to your business.

Can I set up a regular or recurring order?

If your kitchen regularly uses the same produce, speak to our team about your expected quantities and ordering frequency.

We can discuss a suitable ongoing supply arrangement where available.

Can more than one person order for our business?

Business customers may have different members of staff responsible for purchasing.

Your business is responsible for making sure that anyone placing an order or using its account is authorised to do so.

Our produce

Products, availability & sourcing

02
What types of fresh produce do you supply?

Our core range includes fresh fruits, vegetables, salads, herbs and berries for professional food businesses.

Product availability can change according to seasonality and market supply.

What if I need something that is not listed on the website?

Contact us and tell us what you are looking for. Not every sourcing requirement will necessarily be displayed online.

Where possible, our team can check whether the requested product can be sourced for your business.

Are all products available throughout the year?

No. Fresh produce is naturally affected by seasons, crop conditions, weather, market availability and the wider supply chain.

Some varieties or products may therefore be unavailable at certain times or may vary in price.

Can the size or appearance of fresh produce vary?

Yes. Fruit and vegetables are natural products, so reasonable variations in size, shape, colour, ripeness and appearance can occur.

If your kitchen requires a particular size, variety, ripeness or specification, tell us when discussing your requirements.

What happens if an item I ordered is unavailable?

Fresh-produce availability can change quickly. Where appropriate, Growwaas may contact you about an alternative or substitution.

If a particular variety or specification is essential and must not be substituted, please make that clear when ordering.

Do you supply bulk quantities?

Yes, Growwaas is focused on B2B supply and welcomes wholesale and bulk enquiries from food businesses.

Contact us with your approximate quantities, frequency and delivery requirements so we can discuss your needs.

Delivery

Getting produce to your business

03
Where does Growwaas deliver?

Growwaas is based in Birmingham. Delivery availability can depend on your postcode, order requirements and the routes available for your area.

Contact us with your business postcode and we will confirm whether delivery is currently available to your location.

What days do you deliver?

Available delivery days may vary according to location, route and your supply arrangement with Growwaas.

We will confirm the applicable delivery schedule when discussing your order or account.

Can I request a specific delivery time?

Tell us about your kitchen opening hours, site restrictions and preferred delivery requirements when setting up your order.

We will let you know what delivery arrangement can reasonably be accommodated. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, delivery times should be treated as estimates rather than guarantees.

What should I do if my premises have special delivery instructions?

Please tell us in advance about loading areas, access restrictions, gates, opening hours, security procedures or other information our delivery team may need.

Keeping your delivery information up to date helps avoid unnecessary delays.

Can a delivery be left if nobody is there?

Unattended delivery should only be used where this has been agreed with Growwaas in advance and there is a suitable, secure location for the produce.

Once fresh produce has been left at an agreed unattended location, your business is responsible for moving it into appropriate storage promptly.

Payments & accounts

Pricing, invoices & credit

04
Why can fresh-produce prices change?

Fruit and vegetable markets can move because of seasonality, weather, crop availability, transport costs and other supply conditions.

Unless a fixed price has specifically been agreed, current pricing or a quotation will apply as communicated by Growwaas.

Do you provide invoices?

Business orders can be supported by the relevant order and invoicing documentation. Applicable VAT or other charges will be shown where relevant.

If you need invoice information updated for your business, please contact us.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms depend on the arrangement agreed with your business and will be communicated during the ordering or account process or shown on the relevant invoice.

Where no credit account has been agreed, payment may be required before or at the point specified during ordering.

Can I apply for a business credit account?

Where Growwaas offers credit facilities, these may be subject to approval, credit checks and account conditions.

Contact our team if your business would like to discuss payment or credit arrangements.

Quality & support

When something needs attention

05
What should I do when my delivery arrives?

We recommend checking fresh produce promptly after delivery, including the products supplied, quantities and visible condition.

Fresh and temperature-sensitive items should then be moved into appropriate storage as soon as possible.

What if there is a shortage or quality issue?

Contact Growwaas as soon as reasonably possible after identifying the issue.

Because fresh produce is perishable, quality concerns should normally be reported within 24 hours of delivery in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

Please provide your order or invoice information, details of the affected product and photographs where appropriate so that we can investigate.

Can I return fresh produce?

Because many of our products are fresh and perishable, returns are handled differently from ordinary non-perishable goods.

Please contact us before returning anything. Where a product was incorrect, damaged or did not meet the agreed requirements, we will review the issue and determine an appropriate remedy.

What information should I provide when reporting a problem?

To help us investigate quickly, please provide as much of the following as possible:

  • your business name;
  • order or invoice number;
  • the affected product;
  • quantity affected;
  • a short description of the issue; and
  • clear photographs where appropriate.
I have a specific product specification. What should I do?

Tell us before ordering if your kitchen requires a particular variety, size, grade, ripeness, origin, pack format, dietary specification or other important characteristic.

We can then confirm what is available rather than relying solely on a general website description.

Where can I read your Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions?

You can view our Privacy Policy for information about how Growwaas handles personal information.

Our Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply to business orders, deliveries, payments and other trading matters.
